_{(first of all, i'd like to say i'm not a fan of journals, but i AM a fan of badges so that's why i'm doing this)}

ok, so the first time i came across deviantArt was like, 5 years ago. at that time, i was an avid neopets player and 'designer'.



i remember someone on neopets said that they had found amazing resources here to use in their layouts, and i thought about taking a look at the page, because why not? i was expecting something totally different from this, maybe more like photobucket? (R.I.P.) but i created an account anyway. i didn't use it that much for the first year or so, but after my 'art orientation' shifted from design to illustration, i began uploading my first attempts at drawing, and they were mostly of, you guessed it, neopets and a little bit of disney.

at that time, i was really obsessed with dA users cippow25 and 0xo and i think you can see where my art style at the time got the inspiration from.





but then i somehow grew out of it, i don't remember exactly what happened then? and this is what my style came out looking after like, 4 years.
